Composers only retire when they die! Vivaldi “retired” in 1741 and found that he had time to pursue new ventures!
In life, Vivaldi had always noted the importance of rhythm and movement in sport; and decided that musicians should therefore excel in the sporting arena. Only a week after his death, Vivaldi founded “Decomposed United”, and over the years to come, recruited many great composers to join his Team as they became available.
Vivaldi’s theory proved to be correct. Decomposed United went on to dominate the “After-life Premiership”
in multiple sports.
