  • Stable and flexible WoodWindDesign's wooden stands for flute, clarinet and oboe basically consist of a wooden tube with  four holes at the base. The alto flute stand afl4 however consists of a carbon tube connected to a synthetic base with four holes. These holes contain small magnets, as do the the four legs of the stands. When in use, the magnets hold the legs firmly in the base of the stand. This connection is stable as well as flexible in order to deal with uneven floors. The legs can be pulled out of the base and can be stored inside the tube that is the core of the stand. The stand can be stored inside the instrument or in the instrument's case, depending on model, instrument and lay-out of the case. Despite the pictures, the stand comes with four carbon legs. Handmade These carbon stands are handmade This beautiful and stable instrument stand weighs 60 grams only.
  • Padded velvet cone-shaped accessory bags with adjustable internal dividers. Designed for access from both the side and ends. Ideal for carrying neck and mouthpiece (attached or separate). Bell bags fit snugly, utilizing all available space in the bell area.

WoodWindDesign's new carbon stand for alto saxophone  is extremely stable due to the big footprint of the four legs with rubber feet, the shock absorbing design and the specially designed bell holder. This bell holder is a perfect match to the curves of the bell itself, and therefore has a big contact area with the bell. Because this contact area is lined with real rubber (no foamrubber) the grip on the instrument is perfect, as is the protection of your instrument. When you place the instrument a bit awkward in the stand when you have to change instruments very quickly, the instrument will stay in that position and will not slip further or tilt even when the tilt is already 300.   The two lower instrument supports are the endings of the rear legs. The contact points are lined with rubber for extra grip and protection.

WoodWindDesign's new carbon stand for baritone saxophone  is extremely stable due to the big footprint of the four legs with rubber feet, the shock absorbing design and the specially designed bell holder. This bell holder is a perfect match to the curves of the bell itself, and therefore has a big contact area with the bell. Because this contact area is lined with real rubber (no foamrubber) the grip on the instrument is perfect, as is the protection of your instrument. The five carbon tubes have different diameters and they all fit into one another. Tubes and tube holder can be stored into the tenor's bell. The bell holder fits over the bell in the case. Because of this feature, you will always have your stand with you, literally without feeling the extra weight, which is only 190 grams / 6.7 oz. Yet another advantage is, that you do not have an extra luggage item, which is excellent when you travel with public transport or with multiple instruments. Also: you do not have to make extra costs at checking in at the airport, because your stand is where the instrument is.
